Process & Legal Support
Our Process
The key to our process is to compel the lender(s) to work with us rather than take the home to foreclosure.
This is accomplished by a structured process that includes these steps and the expertise of the legal support team and full-time mitigators.
- Pause/Stop the Foreclosure Process
- Negotiate a Short Sale
The legal counsel sends all documents to the seller and works with the seller.
After execution, we conduct a detailed home inspection.
When our property analysis is completed, we send a comprehensive offer package to the various lien holders. Each offer is tailored to satisfy the lender’s guidelines and process. We follow up with all lien holder(s), handle final negotiations, and conduct the closing.

Legal Support
Since our inception, Fort Bend Short Sales and its affiliates have always had the advice and support of excellent legal counsel who are highly experienced in foreclosures, real estate, and related fields.
We put our client’s needs first. We refer our prospective clients to, what we believe to be, the Leading Foreclosure Defense firm. The Law Firm REPRESENTS THE SELLER through the entire foreclosure process. They also negotiate the liens that have been placed on the sellers property.
Don’t settle for a title company negotiating the short sale. Don’t settle for a “short sale company” who will attempt to negotiate a short sale for the property owner. Don’t settle for an attorney that simply negotiates a short sale. DEMAND that your clients best interests are served through the full legal representation of a QUALIFIED Law Firm.
With passage of s.501.1377, F.S., effective October 1, 2008, we have added additional protection for brokers, realtors, and/or clients.
